Signe Heinfelt is a composer and sound fetishist.

She loves everything with a sound. Like really. Everything.

Her compositions encompass electroacoustic live performances, acousmatic loudspeaker settings, sound art installations, and works for traditional classical instruments.

During her studies in electronic music and sound art at The National Academy in Music (Esbjerg, Denmark) she specialized in exploring the musicality of field recordings and everyday objects through technology and synthesis. She get inspired by sounds in her environment and use them conceptually in her compositions.

In 2023 she was fortunate to work with astrophysicist Jo Verwohlt in creating the sound- and light art exhibition Interference. This was not just her first big exhibition but also her debut as a visual artist.
